The late Hilda Reddick lived with us in Aldergrove for only a few years, where she ran a small shoe store in the Aldergrove Mall. Her fierce dedication to so many organizations epitomized community spirit and service.
The Hilda Reddick Community Service Award recognizes an individual over the age of 18 who lives or works in Aldergrove1 for their outstanding service to our community without regard for their own personal gain.
The award is presented during the Opening Ceremonies of the annual Aldergrove Fair.
1Aldergrove is defined as the area bounded by Zero Avenue, the Fraser River, 240th St. and Mount Lehman Road.
